ESS was invited to attend and exhibit at the annual ODIN IT Expo organized by Lockheed
Martin at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on May 17th. Our representatives were able to
meet with some of our past clients, talk with other tech-oriented exhibitors, and present
our company's services to the Expo attendees.
We talked to hundreds of people about data recovery services, and listened to many
stories of data loss and reconstruction at both the individual and company level.
In some cases, the stories came from people who weren't even aware of the data recovery
industry or ESS Data Recovery's reputation as a fast and affordable solution.
Attendees were able to view several of our past hard drive data recovery cases on
display at our table. These success stories included companies such as
VECO Alaska,
The United States Army,
and even an external drive used by the
Living Heart Foundation and NYPD to keep track of the
health of at risk rescue workers in the days following the September 11th attacks
on the World Trade Center in New York.
Our booth also offered free
Klix software from
Prosoft Engineering, a nicely
packaged Windows and Mac compatible software for digital picture recovery.
Klix enables users to safely recover their own photos and movies from flash
memory cards lost from deletion, formatting, or card corruption.
The Expo took place in the Mission Briefing Room of the Operations and
Checkout Building, which contains 567,000 square feet of offices, laboratories,
astronaut quarters, and spacecraft processing bay areas. Astronauts
traditionally walk out of the O&C Building on their way to the launch pad.
ESS is proud to have contributed to the expo, alongside other exhibitors
such as Lockheed Martin, HP, Apple, Iomega, NEC, Exabyte/Tanberg Data,
Seagate and more.
